Homefront Drone Video Guide

RQ-10 Parrot

Cost: 250 BP (200 With Penny Pincher)

Description: Arial drone that can be used to mark enemies for teammates. To use simply hover over an enemy until you see a white marker around them. Then use the firing trigger on the Xbox to place a red marker on them which signifies they are marked for friendly units. After an enemy marker begins blinking you can re-mark them. Using this drone is a great way to pick up easy Battle Points.

Abilities Recommended:

  • Drone Be Gone - This will make it harder for enemies to shoot your drone
  • Thick Skin - Will give the drone added armor for extra health
  • My Buddy - Adds battery life

General Tips:

  • Fly high for the best view of the field. If there are enemy Rhinos on the field then go lower and use the environment to hide from lock-ons.
  • Pay attention to the area around the bases on Ground Control to give your team added support for victory.
  • Stay on the move so it is harder to be shot from small arms

MQ50 MG Wolverine

Cost 500 BP (400 With Penny Pincher)

Description: Ground drone with machine gun attachment.

Abilities Recommended:

  • Thick Skin - Added armor for health
  • Penny Pincher - I find the value saved is worth it and it allows the player to bring in more faster.

General Tips:

  • Don't use in wide open areas. Stay confined to narrow passages so that it is harder for the enemy to spot the drone.
  • Great for clearing out an area or protecting a control point from being secured.

AQ-11 Buzzard

Cost 800 BP (640 With Penny Pincher)

Description: Arial drone which can fire 2 unguided rockets.

Abilities Recommended:

  • Drone Be Gone - Faster drones are harder to hit with small arms
  • Thick Skin - Increase Health
  • Penny Pincher - Saving BP is always fun

General Tips:

  • Great for sneaking up on camping players and snipers.
  • Stay mobile
  • Watch out for enemies taking a base. Use the Buzzard to get their quickly to stop their attack.

MQ60 AT Rhino

Cost 400 BP (320 With Penny Pincher)

Description: Ground drone that locks onto enemy vehicles. Great for taking out enemy drones and choppers. Very weak against foot soldiers. Place reticle over enemy until lock-on box turns solid RED and then fire.

Abilities Recommended:

  • My Buddy - These can stay alive for awhile if handled right, so extra battery life can be useful.

General Tips:

  • Get to high ground where you can see a majority of the map.
  • Use obstacles like rocks to obscure the enemy from seeing you
