Homefront Weapon Attachment Video Guide

Weapon Attachments General Info: Each attachment is unlocked per gun based on the number of kills with that weapon.

Scopes (View the video guide to see what each scope looks like when looking down sight)

  • Holographic Scope: 5 Kills
  • Red Dot Sight: 50 Kills
  • ACOG Scope: 100 Kills

Shotgun: 15 Kills
The shotgun can be useful in tight areas where players are defending bases located in buildings. Up close it can become a 1 shot kill, but add distance and the gun is not effective.

Silencer: 25 Kills
The silencer is for the players who wish to remain stealthy. Firing this weapon will not cause a blip on the enemies radar. This attachment is more useful when NOT playing the Battle Commander Mode since it is harder for players to hide on BC when they are doing well.

Grenade Launcher: 75 Kills
The grenade launcher comes with 2 grenades. The damage can be increased by attaching perks that make explosives more powerful.

Airburst Launcher: 150 Kills
Anyone using the grenade launcher will probably want to upgrade to the Airburst launcher once it becomes available. The Airburst allows players to lock on to objects by range by pressing the (Right trigger on Xbox). After the range has been selected, release the trigger and the projectile will release and explode once it reaches the predetermined range. This is extremely useful against snipers who may be hiding up in hard to reach places like a billboard or church steeple. The Airburst launcher has 3 grenades. Use the Ammo Resupply for quick refills.

EMP Launcher: 200 Kills
The EMP Launcher is like the EMP Grenade and will disable vehicles for a short period of time. The EMP Launcher can reach targets much further away when compared to the EMP grenade that players can throw. Experienced users can hit enemy choppers and then switch to a proximity launcher to deliver the final blow.
