Miscellaneous Armor - - - - -

Wrist Armor


There are 6 different wrist armor pieces in Halo Reach, all shown below.


From left to right:
  • Default: The default wrist armor in Halo: Reach.
  • UA/Buckler: Supplementary wrist protection.
  • UA/Bracer: Supplementary forearm protection.



From left to right:
  • Tactical/Tacpad: Dock for the MC5 Individual Data/Net Terminal.
  • Tactical/UGPS: Dock for the SRT Universal Global Positioning System Device.
  • Assault/Breacher: Supplementary bandoleer, Rigid, 8 Guage.


Utility Armor Add-On


There are 6 Utility Add-ons for armor in Halo: Reach, all which can be seen below.


From left to right:
  • Default: The default Utility armor add-on in Halo: Reach.
  • UA/CHOBHAM: Supplemental armor, composite.
  • Tactical/Hard Case: For those things you don’t want to lose or break.



From left to right:
  • UA/NxRA: Supplemental armor, reactive, non-explosive.
  • Tactical/Trauma Kit: REMEMBER: this is YOURS, for when YOU get hit.
  • Tactical/Soft Case: For all the stuff you couldn’t fit anywhere else.


Visor Color


Players can change the color of their helmet visor in Halo Reach. There are a total of 5 different colors to choose from.


From left to right:
  • Default: The default Visor color in Halo Reach.
  • Silver: Jumping feet first into hell isn’t your job; making sure it’s crowded when you get there is.
  • Blue: It’s already like they are looking at the sky, just put ‘em on the ground.
  • Black: You can have it in any coulor you want… as long as it’s black.
  • Gold: Put your money where your mouth is.


Knee Guards


There are only four knee guards to choose from in Halo: Reach. See them all below.


From left to right:
  • Default: This is the default Knee Guard Armor State in Halo: Reach.
  • FJ/Para: Designed specifically for airborne units; maximum protection, minimum weight.
  • GUNGNIR: The GUNGNIR Program also produced many supplementary armor systems.
  • Grenadier: The MJOLNIR {G} prototype informed all subsequent supplemental armor development programs.


Armor Effects


There are 4 different armor effects in Halo Reach. Adding an armor effect will change your appearance in campaign and in multiplayer. Armor effects are purely cosmetic in nature.


From left to right:
  • Birthday Party: Your death is softened by a joyfol noise. And confetti.
  • Heart Attack: Upon expiry, flying hearts mark your demise.
  • Pestilence: Foul brown clouds stink and swirl around steel.
  • Inclement Weather: High voltage, indeed.
