The Call of Duty Black Ops Veteran Campaign guide video gives players a few tips, and tricks to help them survive the brutal road to completion of the game.
Basic Tips:

• Be Patient - Move Slowly.
  
• Let AI lead the way and use them to learn where the enemy is
  
• As soon as you start taking hits, duck for cover until you fully regenerate health
  
• Have your weapon aimed down sights ready to fire as you turn every corner
  
• Be prepared to die ALOT
  
• Use your secondary concussion and smoke grenades to get past difficult areas

Level 1 - Operation 40

Operation 40 is the first single player level in Call of Duty: Black Ops. The mission takes place in Cuba in 1961, as the player, Woods, and Bowman attempt to assassinate the Prime Minister of Cuba: Fidel Castro.

Level 2 - Vorkuta

Vorkuta is the second campaign level in Call of Duty: Black Ops. The player controls Alex Mason as he attempts to escape the Russian Gulag 'Vorkuta' with Viktor Reznov and many other Russian prisoners.

Level 3 - U.S.D.D.

U.S.D.D. is the third campaign level in Call of Duty: Black Ops. The player continues as Alex Mason as he delves deeper into his story.

Level 4 - Executive Order

The player control's Alex Mason, whilst carrying out a mission in a missile launch facility. The mission takes place on November 17th, 1963.
The player starts out with a MP5K with Extended Mags and a Red Dot Sight. He/She has to follow his companion through the airplane graveyard and sneak up on two Russians and kill them. After they hide the bodies, the player takes the Russians' clothing and equipment and disguise themselves.

Level 5 - SOG

The player finds himself in the thick of the battle of Khe Sanh Viet Cong. One section involves the player crawling along trenches with enemy flamethrowers blazing overhead. Fugassi lines are used by Mason during the mission to hold back the Viet Cong.

Level 6 - The Defector

Mason starts off in a Huey helicopter, preparing to rappel into the city with the objective of securing a CIA headquarters which has been overrun by the North Vietnamese Army. There are quite a few weapon varieties and a ton of different action sequences, so be ready.

Level 7 - Numbers

The level takes place in Kowloon, Hong Kong. It involves torturing Dr. Daniel Clarke, a prisoner, as Hudson along with Grigori Weaver, something the player does himself with context-sensitive commands. With weather being rainy and and full of lightning strikes, conditions are difficult for weapon accuracy.

Level 8 - Project Nova

The player assumes the role of Viktor Reznov as he confronts Doctor Steiner who has defected from Nazi Germany. Dimitri Petrenko (The Russian player character from World at War) is also a main character in this mission.

Level 9 - Victor Charlie

In this mission the player will start off in a downed helicopter and then begins his path of destruction through a VC encampment. Be prepared for numerous firefights and some cool cutscenes with Woods.

Level 10 - Crash Site

The player controls Alex Mason as the SOG search a downed Soviet cargo plane for Nova-Six. After making their way through to the downed Soviet cargo plane, they search for Nova-Six and find it's an ambush. Mason and the rest of the team pick up sniper rifles to defend themselves.

Level 11 - WMD

Guide Kilo 1 - SoG throughout the terrain. Infiltrate the Substation and destroy the Weapons manufacturing facility. Get ready for some snow combat against the Russians.

Level 12 - Payback

Starting in a a cage and ending with a Hind chopper, Payback is a level that will test all your skills. Be ready for some violent cutscenes and a lot of bullets fired.

Level 13 - Rebirth

Player is set to infiltrate the soviet base and confront Dr. Steiner. Probably one of the more difficult levels of the campaign.

Level 14 - Revelations

Revelations is the penultimate singleplayer level in Call of Duty: Black Ops. The mission is mostly cinematic, similar to U.S.D.D. earlier in the game.

Level 15 - Redemption

Redemption is the final level in Call of Duty: Black Ops. It is set upon the ship, the Rusalka and sees Mason and Hudson attempt to stop Nova 6 from being unleashed in the USA.
