[Alpine gremlin]

Well here guys, I finally got some WoT gameplay for you! It has no sound because I need to figure that out, but hey! 1080p. Meh. Quality is still sub-par. Nothing too special in terms of battle achievement, but we won! The objective for this particular game was to hold the area near the hill until time ran out or until all enemy tanks were destroyed.

The game runs really smooth, but the recording doesn`t seem too hot.

I`m working on a relatively detailed overview as well for those interested in the game. Should be finished soon.

That's a lot of junk running in the background. You are aware that the encoding part of video recording is done by your CPU and not your GPU, right? Video quality is pretty good, but I hope it wasn't as choppy when you were actually playing as it is seen there. If it's possible, you should record in fullscreen or only record the part of the screen the game is on; people usually would rather not see your taskbar and window border. Hope you can figure out the sound - what did you use to record?

It was a replay, so quality was good while actually playing. Would you recommend ending all tasks while gaming/recording for maximum performance?

I used Debut Professional.

I've been spending a few days tinkering with a program and codec, and here be the results. Obligatory disclaimer that it isn't my best game, not that anyone cares! Goes all the way up to 1080, though I don't see a ton of improvement over 720 (because it was recorded in 720, derrrrp). Still looks good. Much easier on the hardware than most recording software.


Let me know if anyone wants me to hook you up. It took awhile to work out the kinks.
