Anyone else use the Razer Onza Competition model for xbox 360? Just bought one for xbox and had some credit to apply so I got out for a good price but haven't unboxed it yet (no, I don't have phenomenal restraint but had to work too much to play lately) since I read so many bad reviews. It's still returnable so I can switch it up if anyone has better advice. I got this mostly for FPS play so am looking for some added features to help out in that regard. The standard controller is fine (I use controlfreek extenders) but I need a second controller and am looking to add something decent. Any advice or input is welcome.

I love mine. It take a bit of getting used too. Keep in mind the LB2 can be programed with everything - including stick clicks - except RB (I guess so you cant have LB and RB on the same side giving a edge. This controller is not allowed in Pro games so not sure why they would do that.) And Vice versa.

The adjustable tension is nice but after a while i realized i set it to almost the same as the standard controller. The digital buttons are nice.

The longevity of the controller is the question. The first one fell to pieces in 35 days. Sticks started jamming LB stopped working etc. I bought 2 more however after 8 months still on controller 1. Its got a well worn in feeling but still works great.


Overall I'd recommend using it, they feel great, respond well, but dont use it for games that use the D Pad heavily and dont rely on it lasting too long.

Cool...thanks. I wish they made a rifle shaped controller so I could actually hit stuff...until then, I'll give the Onza a try.
