[THE RED DRAGON]

Wanted to invite everyone to come play on my BF3 server. I've rented it out for 90 days - This is where I will be playing the majority of the time and where i'll also be filming any videos that I create. I plan on adding several of my closest friends here at BattleStrats to be server admins so hopefully there will always be a moderator online who can ensure teams are even and everything is going smooth. I'll list these admins out so you always know who you can send a msg to online if your having a problem or would like to request a certain map from the rotation.

I can have a certain number of VIPs on my list that will get priority when joining the game. The server has stayed pretty full all day long. If your interested in being a VIP then just reply here and it'll be first come first serve. I look at this as BattleStrats server too so thats why I want to make sure you all are involved.

HOW DO I FIND YOUR SERVER????

Go to the server browser and search for custom servers. It will be located in the South US and it is called "THE RED DRAGON'S SERVER". Once you find it - add it to your FAVORITES and that way you can always have it saved.

I will update this post when I make any changes to the server. This way you all can request replacements for maps and it will be easy to know what the rotation is.

THE RED DRAGON'S SERVER SETTINGS

Friendly Fire - YES

Kick after - 400 Seconds

Team Balance - No

Team Balance NOTE - I prefer to keep the teams balanced but squads and friends together. So if an admin sees that the room is becoming uneven we will randomly select people and move them to the other team.

# of TK before player is kicked - 8
NOTE - if an admin sees a player TK'ing on purpose or receives several complaints then we will ban that player whether they have reached the 8 threshold or not.

Ban Player after # of Kicks - 1

Vehicles - Yes

Regenerative Health - Yes
NOTE - I originally wanted it off, but we are playing mostly larger maps. Making medics throw down med packs works better on more condensed maps. We may play with this setting from time to time - but currently REGEN is ON.

Only spawn on squad leader - No
NOTE - This keeps a team from being spawn trapped if they have several options to spawn.

Show Minimap - Yes

Show HUD - Yes

Use Minimap Spotting - Yes

Use 3D spotting - Yes

Kill Cam - No

3P Vehicle Camera - Yes

Show Enemy Name Tags - Yes

I am also available to be another admin if needed.

And I have one thing to say about the map rotation: Maybe put the rush maps in twice back-to-back so that we can both attack and defend on the map before moving on to the next. Just a suggestion, but i always like going both ways on a map.
One more thing, maybe add Seine Crossing conquest? I always like that one.
There are a lot of other map variations that i'd like to play on eventually i'm sure but everything looks pretty nice so far!

is this like a first come first serve? I know there are a lot of people like Schism1861, Alpine ,jedi and Mojo that play together. I played a few times with them, I'll take a spot if available. If not I'll just try to join on them.

Sounds like a fun server! Hopefully I wont get too much lag with it being in the US... Or I can blame my poor scores on it

Can you not do server plugins? :c There are some that will only move players that aren't in a squad or a whole entire squad together when performing team autobalances. It's really nice.

No Maf - nothing like that - Admins can move anyone - and I tweeted Battlefield this morning and asked about getting capability of managing it from Battlelog - They said they'd note it. Its not as much control as a PC i'm sure - but it is pretty customizable - i'm pretty impressed with the experience so far. Best implementation of something new on consoles that i've seen in awhile

Thanks for checking it out Thom - if you guys have a map and setting that isn't on there that you would like to see - lemme know - I'll also have this up and running with any new DLC that comes out

Admins can move people, my mate was doing it on my server today. they can change everything. The only thing thry can't do is make people admins.
