I need to do some looking into this plan, because there is a lot of heat flying on both sides of this issue. Ryan says that the new tax code would increase revenue without hitting the poor, but others are saying it does... sounds like im going to have to sit down and actually read the plan

At least the budget wont be balanced until 2040....

The best income tax rate is 0. Especially for those 30~50k and under. Which only can happen if our govt is responsible.

Throw in a sound currency and we all win.

The Ryan plan is a hell of a lot more fiscally sound than Obama's budget. I would vote for the Ryan plan if it were up to us. Kinda sad that the budget won't be balanced until 2040.... I guess that's what trillion dollar deficits gets you

Isn't there a pretty big cut to medicare in that plan??? thats a cut to entitlements lol

Pac, he shifts it to the states which the Ryan plan does to a lesser extent and over a longer period of time.


Also, nothing says "go f*ck yourself" to the president like having your budget proposal fail in the House 414-0...


EDIT: and just coming across my screen. The House passes the Ryan budget 228-191. My money is on it being DOA in the Senate and we have another year defined by spending bills. Although it is an election year this time around so even less will get done...
