Really interest.
I wasn't aware quite how huge the difference in damage between hitting a tank in the front and rear was.
Since seeing this I always make the effort to flank tanks and hit them in the rear with a couple rpg's. Extremely effective.
Doubly effective because you normally get to shoot the support gunner as he gets out to repair as well.
The stats seem to suggest javlin is quite a weak choice at the moment. Maybe it improves with a top attack, but it seems very rare that targets are actually lasered.

I'm not sure about the Mortar damage against armor. It says 22 for front, side and back but I think that when I hit a tank with 1 mortar it gets disabled and the second destroys it. I have no way of knowing if the tanks are damaged or not but I've done it several times.
Cry Havoc, and let slip the dogs of war!

The heavyweight pistols in general seem pretty underpowered. In Bad Company, they were very accurate, allowing you to make your shots count and have a reliable finisher weapon. Now, ALL pistols are fairly inaccurate, and it seems like volume of fire is now superior to damage per hit on the sidearms. This is ESPECIALLY true on the revolvers, which theoretically grant two-hit kills according to this chart, but in reality usually just get you killed because it missed.
I've been using the M1911 since I started since I got it for free from the EA Gun Club thing, so I got a flashlight right off the bat - but now that I've unlocked some other pistol variants, I think I'm going to take the M9 and the MP-443 back to testing. It's only one more hit, but they shoot much faster and are more likely in general to hit...

I agree with all this. The M9 has what 17 rounds? The .45 should hit harder and both it and the revolvers should be more accurate. Otherwise why not just take the 9mm autos and dump 17 rounds at your target in a spray and pray?
