The jabs from Bad Company 2 towards Modern Warfare 2 have not subsided since the game's release. For gamers who have played the BFBC2 campaign, you may have picked up on several of the shots taken at MW2. If you haven't yet, you can check out THIS CLIP (*contains mature language*) showing a few of the comments from the campaign.

On March 9, Robert Bowling, a lead director at Infinity Ward, made the following tweet concerning a terrible psychological condition known as "mapathy":

http://www.mapathy.com - Feeling the effects of mapathy? It's okay; the cure is hitting Xbox Live in just three short weeks.

DICE responded with a blog post of their own entitled, "How to avoid "mapathy" without paying!"

In the post DICE announces that VIP Map Pack 2 will also be available March 30th and will be

helping you avoid “mapathy” without getting nickel-and-dimed.

In their post, DICE is clear to let it be known that Modern Warfare 2 is their direct competition and that they are committed to delivering support for BFBC2 for a long time to come. While the Battlefield Bad Company 2 VIP Map Pack 2 will be free, they do acknowledge that more content will be coming that will need to be purchased by the users. It looks as though March 30th will be a good day for fans of both military shooters.

Which DLC are you looking forward to most?
